Pure From Nature® is about bringing the very best of nature to wherever you need it to be. For centuries nature has provided botanical solutions for a mired of health and wellness problems. Today, those same botanical solutions are captured in essential oils.

Pure From Nature® essential oil blends were specifically created to harness the power of plants and provide people with the opportunity to live a life with fewer chemicals. They are the only water-based essential oils on the market. The proprietary formula was specially crafted for use in air purifiers and air ionizers to cleanse the air while diffusing the oils and their natural benefits into the air.

The Challenge

Selling natural products in a heavily regulated industry requires a complete understanding of regulations and a specific knowledge of the natural health movement. With two industry leaders receiving warning letters in the last year, Pure From Nature’s main goal was to completely re-brand to increase sales and stay compliant, all while not breaking the bank. As a young company with limited resources it was important to create an action plan that could quickly gain momentum to generate the needed revenue to help fund future projects.

The first step in the action plan was to create a completely new, responsive website that would brilliantly showcase the entire Pure From Nature catalog. The website needed an easy and robust backend to manage the 175 SKU’s, all while providing customers a smooth and user friendly front-end experience.

Integrated Marketing Campaign

Using an integrated approach to get the Pure message out to new and current customers, the website launch was promoted via email and a small number of promoted social media posts. The existing affiliate program received a facelift with the integration of a robust new software to manage the accounts and a Wholesale Buyers Guide was created for new and existing wholesalers.

Shortly after the web launch, a new Pure From Nature blog was created to educate consumers on the hazards of everyday household and personal care items and the benefits of living a chemical free life.

The Emails

Email marketing is a powerful tool to encourage an audience to engage with content and to nurture leads in a company’s database. I sent emails highlighting relevant blog posts each month. Every blog post was coupled with a promo code to encourage a purchase and to ultimately boost weekly sales.

The Promotions

To help drive new customers to the brand, each blog post and promo code was also promoted on Facebook and Instagram. Each post was boosted with a nominal ad spend of no more than $75-$150.

The Results

In 2016, we focused on increasing Pure From Nature’s customer base and revenue by concentrating on creating valuable, searchable and shareable content. Over the course of the year we produced a series of informative blog posts to help educate consumers on the products. Each blog post was accompanied by a sale with a unique landing page. The combination of blog post, email blast and Facebook promotions was the best formula to drive traffic and increasing sales for Pure From Nature. Overall efforts resulted in a 146% increase in new customers and a 117% increase in year-over-year sales.
