As a small business owner garnering national attention with appearances on the Dr. Oz show and mentions in Cosmopolitan and Esquire, Dr. Perry needed someone he could trust to take care of the design side of the business while he focused on everything else. Arriving with a brand already in hand, Dr. Perry needed some help executing the packaging of his new skin care line. Outcomes: When Dr. Perry came to us he had already had a packaging design that he loved, but was unable to successfully reproduced it on professional printing presses. We made some alterations to the existing design to help solve the production issues, which included making sure the package was FDA compliant and working in conjunction with the legal department to ensure the registered trademark rendered accurately. In addition, we opted to change the hot foil stamping to cold foil stamping which resulted in an immediate savings of $2,000 in tooling and lowered the overall cost per impression on all future print runs.
