Green Festival

Trade Show Marketing, Digital Marketing, Direct Mail Postcard Campaign, Content Strategy

Client: Green Festival

Green Festival is a vibrant, dynamic marketplace where companies come to showcase their green products and services, and where people go to learn how to live healthier, more sustainable lives. In the spring of 2014, I joined the Green Festivals to promote their spring line-up and ready the company for the fall. I developed, shaped and managed the strategy and visual direction of the brand by providing quality assurance oversight and employed “best practices” across all channels. During my time with the festival, I was able to think up and produce creative solutions for the following projects:

Event and B2B Guides
The framework for the preview, event and B2B guides was created and a new workflow system was implemented to ensure all future deadlines for the creative team were met on time and on budget.

Direct Mail Postcard Campaign

The Green Festival sales team was looking for help on how to address the issue of the summer sales slump. Rather than sending out the standard postcard to potential exhibitors, I developed a variable data direct marketing campaign that targeted each sales market.

Outcome:
The targeted campaign directly contributed to successfully selling out the first fall event with over 270 exhibitors in Los Angeles.

Social Media Marketing

Hired to help increase traffic and improve engagement on multiple platforms, I delivered relevant content to a community of over 57K. To help continue the trend for the fall, I revamped the social media toolkit to better educated and entice non-social media mavens on how to deliver the Green Festival message to their own customer base.

Outcomes:
With a combination of Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising and an organic content strategy, we increased engagement by 1000% per day and followers by 1000k per month. Overall marketing efforts resulted in an increase in online ticket sales by 20% over the previous year.
